Welcome to Folkekirken for Internationals
Folkekirken for Internationals is a new community of English-speaking internationals in Viborg and surroundings. It is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denmark (Folkekirken).
Based at Houlkær Kirke in the northeastern part of Viborg, Folkekirken for Internationals holds monthly church services with coffee, bringing together expats, international students and anyone interested in an inclusive, English-speaking church community. The services are open for people of all backgrounds and denominations.
Karen Stubkjær, Cordelia Magdalene Harbo Johnston and Peter Fischer-Nielsen are pastors for the services in English
Contact one of these if you want to know more or if you are interested in volunteering in any way – for instance with reading, singing, performing music, baking or making coffee. Any contributions are more than welcome!
